Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American actress singer and songwriter. In her early years Sara was targeted for racial discrimination by American citizens of all races. When she attended a 9th grade school audition in which she was praised for her singing, she started to build confidence. The singer not only gained confidence from the experience and gained experience, but also changed her plans for her career. In 1992 she graduated with her master's degree from the city's Julliard School. When she turned 23, she started her professional career in Broadway in the Paul Simon musical The Capeman. Then, aged 23, her movie debut was You've Got Mail. In the Broadway first production of Spamalot She played The Lady of The Lake and won both the Tony Award as well as the praise of critics. Later that year, as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC her role was given greater recognition. She is also a known performer and has published an extended version of her play. In addition, she's an activist who works hard in the fight for LGBT rights.
