Zoe-perry
Perry is the daughter of actor Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. Her first television performances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother portrayed the character. Perry was forbidden to start acting with her parents till she reached the age of adulthood because they were afraid of the strain it might result in. Perry she was shy for acting in school, began performing in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry was able to land small TV roles in Law & Order: Criminal Intent when she finished her degree. Homesickness, however, brought her to California to return, where she started performing in the stage. The Other Place was performed by her and her mom in 2013 on Broadway in 2013 Kevin McKidd, her father Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie together with her in 2015. Perry played a role in 9 episodes of The Family, an ABC drama The Family in 2016. Perry was a regular character in the ABC drama about politics Scandal which starred her father. She played a younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off show that was part of the CBS show The Big Bang Theory was another portrayal by her younger mother. She got the part by auditioning for an open role despite being a fan of the character.
