Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is a famous American cookbook author who has been awarded Emmy Awards. She hosts the oldest Food Network show, Barefoot Contessa. The show began in 2002. The show will run for another 27 years. Ina was employed in the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policy documents and also the budget. While she initially found the work intellectually stimulating she eventually became bored. So she purchased the Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. After 18 years of making her store a huge success, she sold it, and then began writing her first book. Many more cookbooks and magazine columns that were added. Another hit was her Food Network Television show. Her range of items spans from appliances for kitchens to ingredient and storage containers. Ina never went to a cookery school nor did she work in a dining establishment. Her education is completely self-taught. Her name is ascribed to her simple style of cooking as well as her easy entertaining. Some of her most popular recipes are Skillet Lemon Chicken roasted by Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & cheese Beef Bourguignon. Balsamic roasted Brussels Sprouts, Lemon Bars and Mac & cheese.
