Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American writer, singer and actor well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. In 1956, she made her big break in the stage on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. In 1957, she launched her first album of music entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise was the first to make her debut in Hollywood playing Griselda Walden, a character from God's Little Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim and Louise won an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. While in New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her friendship to Lee Strasberg. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career that combines Broadway television with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious in contrast to the glamour doll image she was perceived. SG-1 and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she has also made her name as an accomplished director on various well-known television shows like Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born on the 28th of August, 1965 in Essex. As a young girl, 3, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent her childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has remained there ever since.
