Mary Marg Helgenberger (born November 16th, 1958) is a famous American actress. She began her career at the beginning of the 1980s. She was first noticed for playing the role of Siobhan Ryan on the soap opera daytime Ryan's Hope from 1982 to 1986. Her most well-known character is Catherine Willows, a CBS procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation, a television series that aired between 2000 and 2013, and Immortality, a television movie made in 2015. Vegas is the sequel and she has reprised this character from 2022. Helgenberger also has a reputation for portraying the role of K.C. Koloski as a supporting actor on the ABC Drama China Beach, which aired between 1988 and 1991. The show won her an Emmy Award as Outstanding Supporting actress for a Drama Series in the year 1990. The show also featured her in TV series Under the Dome & Intelligence and the films Species (1995), Species II (2000) Erin Brockovich (2000) as well as Mr. Brooks (2007). In 2017, she was named co-host of the chat show on daytime talk show The View. She will continue to host until 2021. McCain is also a Daily Mail journalist after her three year stint as a reporter on The View. McCain has also written four books, including America You Sexy Bitch, The Love Letter To Freedom and Bad Republican.
